Counseling for Attachment Issues

Do you or your youth struggle to build and maintain healthy relationships? Adverse experiences like neglect or abuse early in life can lead to later interpersonal struggles. John Bowlby developed the theory of attachment, suggesting that children need to have a strong bond with at least one caregiver in order to feel safe and thrive.

I can help youth and adults work through attachment issues by building trust and developing the ability to identify and express  emotions. I specialize in providing the supportive techniques needed to assist with processing trauma adverse childhoods in order to explore and heal.
